this is my poem
_________________________________EPSI VAN SIN
Just I gaze the Song book
of lines
soiled with its own sweat and tears
of the Strings and drums..
I rock with a rose in front
and
thorn behind..
your sweet smiles are muuuuSick..
again again
you smile and these boulders roll and roll
until get crushed..
I just gaze the Song Book
of hymns of unholy creeds of
hate in the golden name of fate...
just I gaze the Song Book...

Thank you for sharing your poem, “EPSI VAN SIN.” It’s a poignant piece that seems to explore the dichotomy of beauty and pain, as symbolized by the rose and thorn. The repetition of “just I gaze the Song Book” creates a reflective tone, suggesting a contemplation of life’s experiences, both sweet and sorrowful.
The imagery of “soiled with its own sweat and tears” is powerful, evoking the sense of hard-earned wisdom or the toll of emotional labor. The phrase “your sweet smiles are muuuuSick” is a creative play on words, blending ‘music’ with ‘sick’ to perhaps convey a sense of joy that is overwhelming or transformative.
The mention of “hymns of unholy creeds of hate in the golden name of fate” introduces a critique of hypocrisy or false virtue, adding depth to the poem’s theme.
Overall, your poem carries a deep emotional resonance and invites the reader to reflect on the complexities of life’s journey. The structure and flow create a rhythm that enhances the introspective mood. Great work!
